The Expansion of The Higher Plane Team

As Editor-in-Chief of this here entity, I am extremely proud to announce the expansion of our blogging team. For the most part, I have been the lone poster since the blog’s inception in June, outside of SH’s Feature Column. I will be heading to London on Saturday to begin my real job as Project Manager for a teaching agency over there, but the blog will continue, of course. I just need a little help from my friends. Who doesn’t?

The Higher Plane has been growing steadily, and we have grandiose visions for the future. We want to continue to work hard to bring you the best information on the Internet in a timely fashion. We also want to expand our audience and touch upon other styles and issues I may neglect. Therfore, we will be adding two new bloggers.

SoulKlap is a producer/MC from Cleveland, Ohio. He has produced and recorded several records and remix projects, most notably his debut EP Soul-Xploitation and the Jay-Z remix project Soulful Gangster.

Soul attended Ohio Wesleyan University before heading south to Morehouse in Atlanta where he honed his production skills and gained industry insights from top hip-hop producers.

His blog, SoulerSpace!, is a must read. He will add insight from a producer’s point of view, as well as, bringing his own unique style to the blog.

Our other new blogger is Ruffhaus! Believe it. Ruffhaus, or Simonkid, is a DMV native. That is the DC area for those of you asleep at the wheel. Ruffhaus is currently attending Case Western Reserve University. He brings the needed perspective of the campus audience and is in touch with new trends, like T-Pain’s hat! Ruffhaus also produces sick records, and his contributions to the blog will be awesome as we look to expand throughout campuses around the States.

We may add another blogger or two in the future. We want to work hard for you and present the best product possible.

We are also in the process of developing a new logo. As you can see already, we switched the format up a bit. We thank you for your support, and if you frequent the blog, please tell others about it. You know what we are about by now, and that will never change. Any and all feedback is welcome.

The Higher Plane is elated to have two new bloggers on board to help the movement grow, while adding their own unique steez to the blog. Thanks for everything.

The Quan interview coming tommorrow. It’s hot! Don’t sleep, and thanks for rolling through.
