Video: Give Up the Sticks: A Documentary
One year ago today, we were privileged to be part of one of the most unique releases of 2010, the video game themed project Give Up the Sticks. Thinking back on all the hard work that went into that release, it’s hard to believe a year has already passed. However, I am excited to finally let loose this documentary on the world, so everyone can witness all the great moments that came along with putting together a project like this.
The documentary includes interview, performance, music video and studio footage. It is truly a comprhensive, behind the scenes look into the creative process behind the best video game concept project I have ever heard: Give Up the Sticks!
Oh, and a big thank you to Soul, James John, Mike A., VeE!, Mick and Terry (hosting), Madelyn Lee (artwork), Jay Up, J Vic and all the bloggers/writers who posted and covered the project. Official blurb on the project below, and the official release after the jump if don’t have it by now!
Give Up the Sticks: A Documentary takes you on the journey of three gamers as they set out to make the ultimate video game concept record.

Video: Machine Gun Kelly Signs To Bad Boy And Interscope
I have to be honest: I know very, very little about MGK. I have never even heard a full song of his. However, congratulations to him and his team for the deal. Who knows what it really means for his career because as we all know, Diddy hasn’t really killed with his own artists.
Outside of that though, I am sure being around someone like Diddy, who, at the very least is still a tremendous publicity machine, will benefit MGK’s whole camp.
Any aspiring artists, watch this video though. Other than it being extremely well put together, it tells a great story. It is not easy to make it out of Cleveland to the music industry big leagues, but propers to MGK on doing it. Much success now and in the future.

Curtis Introduces His New Wireless Headphones @ CES
Uh Oh. Looks like 50 is getting himself some of that headphone money. Kicking off his Sleek Audio headset campaign, 50 introduces his new wireless headphone at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show. Even though I don’t really mess with him anymore, I will say that Curtis has been working hard on his acting and business ventures. Too bad Dre got there first…
I still prefer BOSE.
Wiz Khalifa – DayToday: NYC
