The Love of Real Tour – RocBar – February 10

We are going back to back nights in Northeast Ohio (see Kent show below), so all the heads in Cleveland save your Friday night to get in tune with sounds provided by a great hip-hop lineup led by Patrenzo Kennedy and KeilyN. Again, Swerve on the 1’s and 2’s, with especially dope guests Veeno, TreaZon, Dasanto, Soul Kryziz, ZUP and The Dangerous Colors (a hiphop/rock band fronted by Patrenzo).

This will be our first official show working with RocBar, so we are extremely excited to build with them. Make sure you come out and show love Cleveland!

Video: Foesum – Live in Paris

My Parisian friend by way of Cabo Verde and Lisboa sends over a crisp video he put together for the West Coast G-Funk group, Foesum. While out in Paris, Boz got some ill performance footage as well as a sit down interview with the Cali group.

Check it out! Video turned out real nice! Aye, and shout out to Paris. I literally think about the city every day. So much love there.

Video: Keilyn Live at The Outpost

Keilyn – Live at the Outpost from Panthera House Productions on Vimeo.

On November 10th, we invaded The Outpost in Kent, OH [a dope venue by the way] with a few MCs you know we stay associated with like James John and Keilyn as well as a few other local acts. Panthera House Productions was on hand for the show and did a great job filming the event. The audio gets a little soft from the soundboard, but overall, I’m loving the footage captured.

Also, shout out to the white girl getting busy in the video. If that’s anyone’s girl, my apologies. LoL. It’s all good. (c) Keilyn.

A sincere thanks to all who came out to the event.

Respect The Mic – Abbey Pub (Chicago)

Well well.  Looks like the Abbey Pub was the place to be this past Tuesday.  Salute to the legend 9th Wonder, and the young talent, Freddie Gibbs.  There’s always something going down in Chi-town, and good look from the soldier Salvatore for keeping us in the loop.

Have a blessed weekend. And as always, keep it Fresh.

Black Star feat. Common – Respiration

Live at the House of Blues in Chicago. Great venue, but even a better song. This might be in my top 10 songs of all-time.

Also, a BIG thank you to those who came out to The Lemon Grove on Saturday night. It is always very appreciated. #Shoutout to Kei, James John, Yung Monsta, Crook It and Streetz Ishu for doing their thing.

Video: J. Cole – Cosmic Kev Freestyle

For those that don’t know, Jermaine’s record leaked. I have listened to it once and won’t comment until I listen to it a bunch more. I did the same thing with Watch the Throne. I like to give a record at least ten full spins before I draw any conclusions.

I will say this though: he killed the session up top and some of the bars he used are on the album. Which helps lead me to draw one conclusion…stay tuned for that later though. Ha.
