I got an e-mail with this material from FarFetched, a digital label out of St. Louis last week. Straight up, this is the most interesting and dope project I have heard in a while. It features artists and music across several genres, but sounds absolutely incredible.

I owe my man Zero Star a real fxcking apology. I have been sleeping on this record he dropped back in December, and I shouldn’t have. The musical effort he put out before this one, an EP with Maggz, was dope. The Columbus native can rhyme and deserves a listen from any real hip-hop head.

Rick Ross – Rich Forever [Mixtape]
Because Rozay’s God Forgives, I Don’t album hit the skids after his airplane seizures along with the lead single not doing so well, he graces us with a new tape that includes a gang of features. One the features is Drake spitting at Common on a record called “Stay Schemin’.” *YAWN* at that beef. Like a super huge, fucking big yawn. Goodnight.

On a weider note, the tape leads off with a “prayer” from Diddy in which he is basically ranting and cursing. I mean, I get it, being braggadocios and brash is part of the gig. But if you are trying to pawn something off as a “prayer” in no way, shape or form is it appropriate to curse heavily. In fact, it’s totally uncalled for. So, I guess in the end, while the tape has some joints on it, that .mp3 is hitting the trash bin for me. Diddy needs to stick to eating cheesecake.
