The Feature Column: On You To Find It

As I sit on the cusp of another 18 hour day I began to ponder. It’s something I have not done in a while, but I seem to remember a much simpler time as a child. Adulthood has the normal ups and downs but something seems different. There is all this 2012 talk, and it also seems as if Earth’s financial system is on the verge of collapse. People, Greece was on fire. What is this middle Earth? What does this mean for the individual? Why is the world in the lieu, and what are we to do about it?
These thoughts keep me up at night. I rack, rack city my brain to figure out what my purpose is and how can we make things better? What I have found is that little victories are important. I am speaking upon the creative spirit that lives inside of you. This is our weapon to make this world better for every living thing not just ourselves.
Each human is tested throughout their lives, and our educational system, even with its issues, at least opened the door for this creative spirit to blossom. Some found their niches in music, sports, arts, etc. Most found their talents and some have pursued them while others have left them dormant. Some blame circumstances, parents, teachers, coaches or whatever makes them feel better about not attacking LiFe with ferocity. We blame every one else for our misfortunes instead of taking responsibility. This is why on the radio you hear about partying, chicks and weed because the populous likes hearing that. It is not talking about progression or our impacting the world in a positive way. This is why we do not hear KRS-One and Talib on the radio. When people hear real talk, they instantly hate and then the masses hate because it is easier to place blame or transfer responsibility.
Hence the state of affairs in this country. We allowed and expected the government to take care of us, and now we are reaping that which we sew. Our rights are being stripped from us daily as they all but put cameras in our homes. Now we have people speaking of this knowledge, and I hope enough wake up so we can turn this around. How do we do this you say? I say we look inside ourselves we find that talent we discovered as children and slowly cultivate that spirit that lives inside of us. I am not saying do anything drastic like quit your job, but I would say start to make small movement towards finding your actual purpose.
This begins with meditation and the commitment to ask the greater spirit to provide the signs that will lead to your true happiness. When one is happy and content with LiFe that begins the pay it forward domino effect that emits the proper vibrations into the atmosphere to raise the collective consciousness into a state of ascension and the transformation begins within you. We can dramatically change this world for the good if we really come together and rid our bodies of the toxins not just from food and drank, but from our zombie like existence of the same thing every day. The only person that can save us all is you.
I ask that you take these words seriously and contemplate on what your spirit is on this planet to do. We are spirits having a human experience, not the other way around. Please pray for me as I will for you and remember the positive impact you can have on the people and the world in which we inhabit.

Video: Talib Kweli – Distactions
Talib Kweli Greene delivers a visual from his upcoming album Prisoner of Conscious due out in 2012. The visual for the Oh No produced track has Kweli visiting the Occupy movement which has received a plethora of support from hip-hop artists such as Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco and Immortal Technique to name a few.
I have to say I am amazed by the longevity Kweli has been able to sustain. Deep in the game and a consistent lyrical monster, Kweli not only continues to pack a poignant punch in all of his songs, but has seemingly continued to reinvent himself to keep up with the times.
As the man once said, “just to get by.”
Feature Column: Are There Straight Lines in The Universe?

There are no straight lines in the universe.
All light and time space forces are curved, let me get through this verse.
Because they are all heading back to the source, the central point from which they are manifested.
At the center of all things and in each atom, there is a divine spark which I am invested.
In everything from the microcosm to the macrocosm our sun and all stars are such things.
Sammy the human state of reality from which young shakes sings.
I am my full vibrant living ocean super conscious self.
Call is oversoul, central sun soul and the zero point string theory may rest on the shelf.
The source, the home-place, we are all from and the place where consciousness is birthed luminous beings are we,
This is why I must do what I do, do you see?
The Universe & divine self is my teacher, I live on the wings of synchronicity.
Complex astral dreams keep me far from simplicity.
People ask me if Atlantis is real.
I cannot give you the whole truth for the living truth comes from within, tap into your zeal.
What is Atlantis can you sew this up like a suture?
It is an event horizon from our own soon to be perceived future.
It is the final hour
The vortex energy spiral curve of space/time is coming around again stand tall don’t cower.
Off world forces and their shadow government continues to dominate earth
You must take up your role giving to you at birth.
The universe is a hall of mirrors to bounce light
True freedom is ours bridge builders join the fight.
