Carl Zeiss Cinemizer Plus Video Glasses

If you haven’t figured it out by now, we are basically living in two worlds simultaneously:¬† the real world and the virtual world.¬† We recieve actual mail, and we recieve e-mail.¬† We buy goods at the store, and we buy goods online.¬† We talk to our friends by phone, and we talk to them in our own little virtual community called facebook.¬† Pretty soon, we’re all going to be plugged in ALL the time like The Matrix.¬†

Lens specialists Carl Zeiss have just released this pair of video glasses. The “Cinemizer Plus” allows the user to watch movies on the go, at a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. Available in a surprisingly slim frame, the technology within provides an experience equivalent to that of watching a 45” from 2 meters away. Optimised for mobile video players the Cinemizer Plus is compatible with the iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch, iPod classic, iPod with Video and iPod nano (3rd, 4th and 5th generation), DVD players and other multimedia phones. Officially certified by the developer to meet Apple performance standards, the glasses allow up to four hours of entertainment and are available now from colette.

Great look from the beast.
