Rick Ross & Wiz Khalifa – The Source

The Source closes out the year with their various awards.¬† Pictured, you see Ross as Man of the Year (which could REALLY be Jay-Z every year) and Wiz as Rookie of the Year.¬† Honestly, I have no problem with these choices. As I’ve said before, I don’t really listen to Ross so much, but I think he does make quality music.¬† Just a personal preference, I guess.
As for Wiz…. if I didn’t know any better, I would probably think Snoop made a trip out to the Burgh back in ’88 and dropped off a seed or two.¬† For real though, props to Khalifa for bringing some much needed freshness to the game.¬† Oh yea, and check out our interview with the kid along the right-hand column.
Mr Hudson ft. Kanye West – Anyone But Him
I think this is the male version of Brandy & Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine.”¬† To be honest, the only reason I watched this entire video is to hear Kanye’s verse.¬† Trust me, it doesn’t disappoint.¬† Dude is hilarious.
Kanye is steadily moving up the ranks of greatest Emcee’s out there.¬† Believe it.
Shyne = Kosher?
When it really comes down to it, I try not to judge others.¬† However, I just don’t know what to think about this.¬†
It’s late afternoon in Jerusalem and Moses Levi is¬†making one of his frequent visits to the Western Wall.
“They say this is where the presence of God is,” Levi says as he ambles¬†across the plaza of Judaism’s holiest site, a mere stone’s throw away from¬†Islam’s sacred al-Aqsa Mosque.
“That’s why you have Muslims here, Christians here, and obviously you¬†have the Israelites here.¬† When everybody disagrees about everything, they¬†agree about one thing:¬† that this is where they need to come to pray.”¬† -¬† Shyne
Shout out to CNN on this one.  Happy Tuesday.

KiD CuDi – REVOFEV (Live on Conan)
Scott performs the Plain Pat produced track on Conan. This shit is one of my favorites off the new record which you know by now that I applaud.
Charles Hamilton – Conversations with God
One of the dopest CH songs from his LENGTHY catalog. Dude is crazy…no doubt. I really don’t mess with him any more, but his mixtape It’s Charles Hamilton is one of the best tapes ever, and this song is ill.
It’s Monday and I already need a pick up, so this is it for now. Went to see The Roots and John Legend on Saturday night and it was EPIC! I had a killer time, and it was nice to hear that soul music back in effect. Needed that in my life. Good times for sure.
Jay-Five – Friday Night Lights

We are proud to present the latest and dopest mixtape to date from the homie Jay-Five: Friday Night Lights – The Mixtape. Now is not the time to sleep on hip-hop in Ohio, and definitely not the time to sleep on Jay-Five. Support good music everyone!!!

Boi-1da Co-Signs Give Up the Sticks
Umm…you may have heard of this cat Boi-1da. He’s produced for a few people you may have heard of called Drake, Eminem, Kanye, Weezy, Keri Hilson, & Trey Songz. I mean he was basically one of the hottest producers in 2010. LoL.
Anyway, the kid is a gamer and gave his approval on the project after giving it a listen. You know we are steady out here working, so it’s always good to get great feedback on something you’ve worked so hard on.
