James John of Divine Minds ‘From A Seed’

James John of Divine Minds ‘From A Seed’
I just need to get this out real quick. There are a lot of rappers out there. I think we all know this. More than 90 percent of them are straight trash. No hate. The reason I get geeked about projects like the one below with Soul and letting this joint loose above is that I really believe in these people. Not only as artists, but as people.
To me, they make real music. I will always support that. Over the last few months, I have been very involved in the project below and another one with Divine Minds and SoulKlap. It’s been fun and refreshing. Mainly for me to hear the new material they want to release to the world, but to also know how much of their soul’s they pour into it. Everyone has to respect that. Whatever your grind is, grind the good grind and people will recognize. So, without further ado…James John let’s something go for the Spring time. Shit’s a little different, so be prepared.
His feelings below…And check¬†this project for more dope ish from James John.
In a literal sense, ‘From A Seed’ is a story about a plant that grows in a field. But to me it represents our struggle to grow as people. Throughout the song the seed is so focused on growing taller that it does not take time to appreciate the things that are around it…or its own self worth. Life is way too short to chase things that don’t matter. We’ll all grow if we let go, watch, and listen.

Kelis ‘I think’…

I don’t know about that milkshake. I think I’ll stick with Dairy Queen. It’s funny how Nas, of all people, married this woman. Now they’re divorced, and Nas basically had to fork up over 500 G’s. That’s a 5 with five 0′s after it. Damn.
New Drake Verse
Umm…Drizzy lets loose a new verse off¬†Thank Me Later.
Right now, he’s the man everyone loves to love and loves to hate.
I remember a one Kanye West saying, “y’all may feel that way about K, but at least y’all feeling something.” Oh and MO WILLIAMS…WHAT UP!

Eminem ‘Not Afraid’ [Prod. by Boi-1da]
The moment Eminem was liberated from all his fears. Elton John made it okay for him to be ‘Not Afraid.’ First track we get off his upcoming album,¬†Recovery.
Drake ‘Find Your Love’ [Produced by Kanye West]

Thank Me Later drops June 15th. This is R&B Drizzy. This album ought to be interesting. Maybe I have lost a few brain cells along the way, but I can’t think of many who have albums of straight R&B records mixed in with straight rap records.¬†So Far Gone WAS like that I suppose. We’ll see how this turns out.
Oh, and Kanye’s production is okay on here. Really sort of sounds like the whole song was an808′s leftover and with less emotion.
