Charles Hamilton & B.o.B ‘Paperboy’
Charles Hamilton and B.o.B. ‘Paperboy’
First off, the beat to this track is SICK. It has some of that old school bounce to it like those ’90s classics.
We’ve been waiting for Charles Hamilton to drop some official music, and it seems that he is finally on his way. B.O.B. is a certified talent. Those of you not familiar need to check him out as well. Like I said before, definitely some good things happening in hip hop these days. This leads me to a few observations:
-
Krunk may ACTUALLY be dead (sorry Lil’ Jon)
-
It seems that Napster was a necessary evil, or savior, depending if you were an artist or just a consumer of music between 2000 & 2003. Without the diffusion of music through the internet, many of these very talented artists would have never been heard, which would have forced us to consume whatever bullsh*t the record labels try to push on us.
-
The only gangster rap I want to hear at this point was probably made before 2003.
-
I can appreciate artists who make quality music about real life thoughts and situations that I can relate to.
This is just how I feel right now.
Props to Nah Right
Play Cloths X G-Shock

If you are in to G-Shocks, this is a good look. Very solid and consistent brand from the Thronton brothers.

How To Respond To A Telemarketer
Common ‘Testify’ [88-Keys Remix]

Common ‘Testify’ [88-Keys Remix]
A few important things here.
1) I actually own the vest he is wearing. The first time I ever wore it, however, my buddy’s dog chewed a hole in the back. No worries. Patched it up, and well, I am actually looking at it right now and wore it last weekend. LOVE IT. 88 is a huge Lo head. I also heavily fuck with Ralph.
2) Common’s¬†Be has to be one of my favorite albums ever. ‘Testify’ was also dope to me.
3) Be on the lookout…this week…for an Higher Plane exclusive interview with Mr. 88-Keys himself.
The World is Large…Don’t Let It Pummel You

As the day becomes colder I am reminded of different times,
Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) Woven РLeBron James’ Heroes Pack РMichael Jordan

LeBron showing some love for his heroes from back in the day. Apparently he’s going to release a “Heroes Pack” which fuse his current shoe with those of his childhood heroes. Read on. . .
Here is a neat idea Nike is working on. Even though he’s one of the most successful basketball star on the court today. At one time in his life, LeBron James was like any child, idolizing the great athletes he seen on television and impersonating their moves on neighborhood playground. Now, as his real life plays off his imagined one, James is able to pay homage to those same athletes in the yet to be release Heroes Pack. From Michael Jordan, Penny Hardaway, to Deion Sanders, each is a pair of Air Max LeBron VII fused with each athlete’s signature shoes. First is Michael Jordan and the Air Jordan XI (11). Dominated by the black patent leather upper and black/red/white color scheme, it is easy to see why anyone would confuse these with a real AJ XI from afar. Unfortunately, no dates are set for its release.
